The Scrub Sisters Retreat: Real Women, Real Life is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together women in medicine at all stages of their careers to have real-life conversations about personal growth and our lives outside of our careers in medicine. Unlike traditional medical conferences, this retreat focuses on topics beyond clinical practice—exploring wellness, women’s health, work-life balance, financial independence, contract negotiations, mentorship, and creativity, all in a fun, supportive and empowering community. 

This retreat is designed for women AT all stages of medicine, including pre-med students, medical students, residents, fellows, attending physicians, and even retired professionals who want to have fun, connect, share, and grow together.  To ensure diversity, we will offer a limited number of open registrations for each level of training and practice.

The retreat will be held on October 9 – 11, 2025 at the Pendry Hotel in Park City, Utah.

This retreat isn’t about medicine—it’s about YOU! We focus on real- life conversations that go beyond the hospital walls, including physical and mental health, emotional well-being, financial literacy, relationships, non-traditional careers, entrepreneurship, self-care, and more, all within the context of being a woman in medicine. It’s a space to be authentic, recharge, and connect with like-minded women.

Scrub Sisters has a block of rooms available at Pendry Park City with a discounted room rate of $346.30 per night including all taxes and fees. There are also Two-Bedroom Residences available at Pendry Park City for $516.60 per night including all taxes and fees.

Pendry Park City is located about 34 miles from SLC (about 45 minutes by car).

Wear whatever makes you comfortable! For social events like movie night, feel free to wear PJs or casual attire. We will send out weather information as we get near the event date.

Yes, your registration includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments throughout the event. 

This event is for all women in medicine, including pre-med/medical students, residents, fellows, attendings, and retirees.  Remember there will be a limited number of registration spots for each group so register early!

The retreat is specifically designed for women in medicine, but we are considering a “supporter ticket” for guests of attendees to attend social events.description

At this time, the retreat is in-person only, but we may have some speakers join remotely. We may also offer select virtual content after the event.

• Full Refund: Cancellations made 60 days or more prior to the event will receive a full refund.

• Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.

• No Refund: Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event are non-refundable.
